Chicago (23-22) at Philadelphia (16-31)
When: 7:00 PM ET, Wednesday, February 3, 2010
Where: Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Line: Sixers -1.5 O/U: 194
The surging Chicago Bulls will look to continue their hot streak as of late by taking on the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Bulls failed to win at home last night against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Bulls shot just 38% from the field and failed to catch up with the Clippers early in the game. The Bulls aren't very great on the road this year at just 9-15 straight up and 12-12ATS in that span. The Sixers however might as well not have a home court, because they are 7-16 straight up at home and 5-18ATS at home.
Overall Team Offense- The Philadelphia 76ers are ranked 24 on offense, averaging 97.2 points per game. The 76ers shooting percentages include 45.0 FG%, 77.0 FT%, and 34.7 three point % so far this season.
- The Chicago Bulls are ranked 27 on offense, averaging 95.6 points per game. The Bulls shooting percentages include 44.2 FG%, 75.7 FT%, and 35.2 three point % so far this season.
Home and Away
- The Philadelphia 76ers are 7-16 at home this season, and 9-17 against 403879.abbrev opponents.
- At home the 76ers are averaging 95.2 scoring, and holding teams to 98.8 points scored on defense.
- The Chicago Bulls are 9-15 while on the road this season, and 13-12 against Eastern opponents.
- On the road, the Bulls are averaging 95.0 scoring, and holding teams to 100.8 points scored on defense.
We might be seeing another bricks laying contest again in this one as both teams are ranked bottom of the rankings on offense.Under is 10-1 in PHI last 11 overall. Under is 8-2 in PHI last 10 vs. NBA Central. Over is 6-1-1 in the last 8 meetings. The time that these two went under the total was earlier this year as both teams failed to find their offense. Last year the Bulls had another scorer in Ben Gordon. These two met earlier this year and the Bulls won at home 94-88. I think the Bulls have been playing good ball as of late because they are 7-3 in their last ten games with two losses to the Clippers @ Staples Center and one at home, and lost one at Golden State Warriors. However, they had big wins at Spurs, Celtics, Hornets, Rockets, Suns, Thunder. All of those teams that I just mentioned are playoff teams. The Sixers are still finding their image with all the players struggling to find chemistry. The Sixers are just 19-28ATS on the season. I'm going to have to roll with the Bulls here and hope they start another 5-6 game winning streak to make a playoff push.
Pick: Chicago Bulls +1.5 and UNDER 194
